About Roof Repair
Most roofs don’t need replacing just because they leak. A leak usually starts at one weak spot: a few shingles lifted by wind, flashing that’s pulled away from a chimney or wall, a cracked vent boot, or nails that have backed out. Find that spot and fix it properly, and the roof can keep doing its job for years.
Joseph gets up on the roof, finds where the water is actually coming in (which isn’t always right above the stain on your ceiling), and tells you plainly whether a repair will hold or whether that money is better spent on a new roof.

Do I need a repair or a new roof?
Joseph looks at the roof and tells you which one makes more sense. If a repair will do the job, that’s what he’ll quote.
How much does a roof repair cost?
It depends on how much damage there is and what’s underneath. After Joseph looks at it, you get a written quote with the price before any work starts.

Can you fix a leak without replacing the whole roof?
Usually, yes. Most leaks come from one area. If the rest of the roof is in decent shape, a repair is the sensible choice. If it’s near the end of its life, Joseph will tell you and let you decide.
Why isn’t the leak where the stain is?
Water runs along the roof boards and rafters before it drips through, so it often shows up a few feet from where it gets in. That’s why the roof gets checked from the outside, not just from the ceiling.
